The Hoosier Electric Vehicle Association’s goal is to support local EV enthusiasts, and to promote and educate the public regarding the benefits of electric vehicles.


Monthly Meetings: Meetings are social events where everyone is welcome, held from 10:00 am to Noon on the last Saturday of the month (unless otherwise noted in the meeting schedule below).

2023 Upcoming Meeting Schedule:

  • Saturday, August 26 at 10 am – Parking lot outside the Irvington Public Library (5625 E Washington St, Indianapolis, IN 46219)
  • Saturday, September 30 at 4 pm – Our September meeting will be held as part of the Carmel EV Ride and Drive at the Indiana Design Center (200 S Rangeline Rd, Carmel, IN 46032). This event is part of National Drive Electric Week and any EV owners who want to show their vehicle are encouraged to register on the event website.

Hoosier EVA Membership

Membership is not required – everyone is welcome! However, we encourage all those who are interested in joining our community to fill out the form below to join our Google Group so that you can connect with other members, receive updates about our monthly meetups, and find other interesting ways to engage with your fellow EV owners and enthusiasts.

How we started

The Hoosier Electric Vehicle Association (Hoosier EVA) was established in March of 2010 as an affiliate chapter of the Electric Vehicle Association (previously known as the Electric Auto Association).
